L7 & Death Valley Girls crushed Brooklyn Steel (pics, setlist, video)

Reunited punk/grunge vets L7 recently announced that their first album in 20 years would be out in 2019 via Don Giovanni, and while we wait for that, they’re on tour, having just played NYC’s Brooklyn Steel last night (4/12). The classic lineup of Donita Sparks, Jennifer Finch, Dee Plakas, and Suzi Gardner is still insanely tight and their stage presence is still totally captivating. They played plenty of classics alongside new singles “Dispatch from Mar-a-Lago” and “I Came Back to Bitch,” as well as their slowed-down cover of Agent Orange’s “Bloodstains” that they’ve been doing since the old days. The show was opened by worthy and well-matched newer band Death Valley Girls. Pictures are in the gallery above. L7’s setlist and some videos are below.
