Lambchop announce new LP, share "The December-ish You"
Kurt Wagner will be back in 2019 with a new Lambchop album, titled This (is what I wanted to tell you) and out March 22 via Merge/City Slang. The album still finds Wagner in autotune mode, as on 2016’s great FLOTUS, and on this album he collaborated with Matt McCaughan (the brother of Superchunk/Merge Records’s Mac McCaughan and who has also drummed for Bon Iver and Hiss Golden Messenger). The first single is the beautiful, lightly jazzy “The December-ish You” and you can watch the video below.
Lambchop have tour dates in Europe this spring and those are listed, along with the album artwork and tracklist, below.
