Lana Del Rey shares "Venice Bitch" off new album 'Norman Fucking Rockwell'

Last week, Lana Del Rey shared the Jack Antonoff collaboration “Mariners Apartment Complex” and said another Antonoff collab, “Venice Bitch,” would follow this week. Now “Venice Bitch” is here, and it’s a nearly-ten-minute song that remains hypnotizing the whole time. It also goes through quite a few changes, from its atmospheric dream pop beginning to its acoustic guitar and squealy synth mid-section to its “Crimson and Clover”-referencing fade out. It’s a really cool song, and it’s keeping our hopes high for Lana’s new album, which she revealed the title of on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show: Norman Fucking Rockwell (“it’s kind of about this guy who is such a genius artist but he thinks he’s the shit and he knows it and he won’t shut up talking about it,” she said). That’s coming in 2019.
