Lana Del Rey, Mitski, Regina Spektor, Bleachers, Hayley Kiyoko, Rostam and Andrew Dost played The Ally Coalition’s fifth ‘Talent Show’ at NYC’s Town Hall last night (12/5). The show was put on by Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff and his sister Rachel Antonoff (who hosted), and it raised over $200,000 for homeless LGBTQ youth centers.
Jack Antonoff joined Lana Del Rey on piano for her new song “Venice Bitch” (which he produced), and like they did at a recent Apple event at BAM, they also played some new, not-yet-released stuff which Lana said were “country songs.” One appeared to be called “I Must Be Stupid For Feeling So Happy” and the other appeared to be called “Hey Blue Baby.” You can watch videos of both of those performances below.
The biggest surprise of the night, though, came when Jack Antonoff collaborator Taylor Swift joined Hayley Kiyoko on stage and played an acoustic version of her Reputation single “Delicate,” which the crowd ate up. You can watch video of that below too.
The night also had comedy from Jacqueline Novak, Sasheer Zamata, and the last-minute addition of Chris Laker. Pictures are in the gallery above.
