Two of the year’s most anticipated indie rock albums are released tomorrow, the National‘s Boxer and Voxtrot‘s self-titled debut full-length. Of this week’s releases, I can also especially recommend Battles‘ Mirrored, Hot Chip‘s edition of DJ Kicks, Meg Baird‘s Dear Companion, Parts & Labor‘s Mapmaker, Shapes And Sizes‘ Split Lips, Winnings Hips, A Shiner, Stars‘ Do You Trust Your Friends?, and Wheat‘s Everyday I Said A Prayer For Kathy And Made A One Inch Square.
