Las Nubes releasing a split EP with Palomino Blond (stream “Demonize”)

Las Nubes

Having released their debut album SMVT last year, Miami lo-fi punks Las Nubes are now gearing up to release a split EP with likeminded Miami band Palomino Blond on March 13 via BUFU Records (pre-order), and we’re premiering Las Nubes’ song “Demonize” from that split. Both sides of the split were recorded and mixed by Jonathan Nuñez of Torche and mastered by Zach Weeks at Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou’s GodCity Studio, but don’t let those credits fool you into thinking “Demonize” is metal or anything. It’s hazy indie-punk that fans of Wavves, Best Coast, Vivian Girls, etc may not want to sleep on. Listen to “Demonize,” along with Palomino Blond’s “Damage” from the split, below.

Las Nubes and Palomino Blond are playing a release show together in Miami the day the EP comes out, and both bands also play Miami’s III Points festival in May. Las Nubes have a few other upcoming Florida shows in between too. All are listed below.

Also fun fact, Las Nubes recently performed as Iggy Pop’s backing band:
