Laura Marling will be touring North America this May in support her new record, I Speak Because I Can, out April 6th stateside through Astralwerks. As part of the tour she’ll be playing a May 13th show at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets are still on sale.
One night after (5/14) that she’ll play an early show at NYC’s City Winery. Tickets to that are on sale too. Full dates to the tour, which wraps at the Sasquatch Festival (where her frequent backing band, Mumford & Sons, who tour on their own this May, will be too) are below.
The new record, cut in two weeks at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, includes live-show highlights like “Goodbye England (Covered in Snow)” (released last year as a single), “Devil’s Spoke” (out as a single earlier this year) and – for the first time – “Hope in the Air.” There’s a special edition of the record that comes packaged with a DVD, and preview clips from that, as well as the new “Rambling Man” video, below…
