LCD Soundsystem continued their Brooklyn Steel run (Night 4 pics / setlist)

After taking Sunday off, LCD Soundsystem continued their five-night opening run at Brooklyn Steel on Monday night (4/10). The setlists have been pretty much the same: an hour+ set of favorites ending with “New York I Love You,” followed by a break, then a few new songs, and then bringing down the house with “Dance Yrself Clean” and “All My Friends.” At the first three shows, they played three new songs including teutonic electro groover “Tonight” and the waltz-time slow dance number, “American Dream,” with Thursday’s crowd also getting anthemic rocker “Call Police” and Friday and Saturday getting the punky, Joy Division/A Certain Ratio-esque “Emotional Haircut.” On Monday, LCD played all four. While there has been some breaking of their “no video” request, almost all of it has been of well-known songs. Things wrap up tonight (4/11) and though the show is sold out, they’ve released tickets to the four previous shows in the early evening day of show. You might wanna follow Brooklyn Steel’s twitter to find out if, when and where tonight.
