Lee Fields & The Expressions lit up Brooklyn Steel w/ !!! and more (pics)
Indefatigable soul great Lee Fields absolutely lit Brooklyn Steel on fire on Saturday night, possessing three times the energy of anyone else in the venue. Leading his tight, nine-piece band, The Expressions, Lee played a set that included a bunch of material off this year’s great It Rains Love, gave a shout to Mother’s Day and was signing merch after the show.
Opening were veteran Brooklyn punk-funk band !!! (chk chk chk) who put on, as usual, a fun set that had frontman Nic Offer running and singing through the crowd. Holy Hive opened the night. Check out pictures from the whole Brooklyn Steel show in the gallery above.
