Lee Ranaldo adds free Brooklyn record release show before tour

Lee Ranaldo will be embarking on a North American tour this fall in support of his new album, Electric Trim. Before that tour gets underway, he’ll play a free record release show Rough Trade on September 14, which is the day before Electric Trim drops. He’ll also stick around after the show to sign copies of the record. Doors open at 6PM, it’s all ages, and you don’t have to buy anything to attend.

When his tour starts proper, Lee will be playing another Brooklyn date, The Bell House on November 9 (tickets). All dates are listed below.

In a recent interview with Apparently This Matters, Lee discussed his time in Sonic Youth, his encounters with Neil Young and Iggy Pop, and his art hobbies. Watch that interview below, as well as the video for Electric Trim cut “New Thing.”
