Liam Gallagher shares new single "Shockwave," touring with The Who
Former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher is back with a new single, “Shockwave,” which is a glammy stomper that is right in his wheelhouse, with nods to The Beatles, T-Rex, and a lyrical Stones reference. He made it with his As You Were collaborators Greg Kurstin and Andrew Wyatt. “I’m buzzing,” says Gallagher. “Buzzing to be alive, buzzing to be making tunes, raring to go. It’s nice to be back with some new music because it means I can get out there, play some gigs and give some people some stick because that is what I do. Let’s face it, it’s boring without me.” Listen below.
As for playing gigs, this fall Liam will join The Who‘s tour for opening slots in San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver and Los Angeles (at The Hollywood Bowl). Those dates are listed below
