Lil Kim playing Barclays Center with A-Trak tonight?

The semi-annual New York Fashion Week returns with its Spring/Summer 2019 season today (9/5), and with it an array of parties and events, some with noteworthy musical guests… if you can find your way into them. VFiles is throwing an “epic fashion and music experience” at Barclays Center tonight (9/5) with runway shows (presenting collections from WINDOWSEN, Elena Velez, MARRKNULL, and Shuting Qiu), the launch of the VFILES YELLOW LABEL line, video installations by Hidji, and “immersive live musical performances from members of the VFILES community- surprise performers to be announced.” A-Trak will be in the house on the ones and twos, and according to Guest of a Guest, one of the “surprise performers” is Lil Kim. Lil Kim teased her appearance on Instagram, where she wrote, “today is going to be really special! Kicking fashion week Awff with a Bang”

Free RSVP is still open now for tonight’s event, but hurry – doors are scheduled to open at 7 PM, with showtime set at 8 PM. (UPDATE: now it says “sold out”)
