listen to Lou Barlow's new album, 'Brace the Wave'

Lou Barlow‘s new, mostly-acoustic solo album, Brace the Wave, isn’t out till next week but you can listen to the album right now, via NPR, below. Lou’s upcoming solo tour hits NYC on September 9 at Rough Trade. Tickets for that show are still available.

Barlow will be out with Murph and J to celebrate Dinosaur Jr‘s 30th anniversary at six Bowery Ballroom shows (Dec. 3-8) where they’ll play their 1985 debut in full with lots of very special guests joining them each night. Tickets are still available via the BrooklynVegan presale (password: VEGANDINOSAUR) to many of them — the Friday & Saturday shows are out of BV presale tickets, but may still be available with the AmEx presale. Tickets for all six shows go on sale to the general public on Friday (8/28) at noon.
