Listen to new New Build; stay tuned for new Hot Chip

Hot Chip at Highline Ballroom in 2010 (more by Vincent Cornelli)
Hot Chip

We just mentioned that Hot Chip/LCD Soundsystem side project New Build added a second Mercury Lounge show (3/14) happening one day after their sold out NYC debut at the same venue (3/13). Tickets are on AmEx presale and go on sale Friday (1/20) at noon. These two shows are now part of a longer tour that the band will be on in March, but they are still the only two North American dates. All dates are listed below.

New Build just announced their second release on their own Lanark Recordings, a limited edition 12″ single (they’re only pressing 500 copies) called “Do You Not Feel Loved?” with remixes by Dominik Eulberg and Juju & Jordash. You can pre-order the single now and stream it along with its b-sides below.

In related news, as producer Mark Ralph reveals on twitter, he just finished producing the new Hot Chip album which the band said they had one song left to record for about a week earlier. As Fact points out, Hot Chip seem to confirm the news (that the album recording is complete). Hopefully that will see a release date this year.
