listen to Paul Banks’ hip hop mixtape

by Bill Pearis

tickets

Lest you think all Interpol’s Paul Banks does all day is sit around listening to Joy Division, Scott Walker and The Chameleons while wearing fine suits, he does have other interests. Man is a hip hop fan too, apparently, and has made a mixt tape you can stream or download featuring “some of my friends, including Talib Kweli, El-P Mike G, and Hprizm/High Priest.” No he doesn’t rap, but his voice can be heard (the “demo excerpts”) amongst the beats and movie samples.

The mix is called “Everybody On My Dick Like They Supposed To” and that’s the cover art above and you can stream it below….
