Little Dragon played Lollapalooza (pics, video), win tickets to NYC shows

Little Dragon released Season High earlier this year, and they’ve been on tour in support of it, including appearances at some festivals, like FYF Fest and Coachella. Yesterday they took the stage at Lollapalooza. Of their set, the Chicago Tribune said:

Little Dragon kept the funky disco revolution going with a set that, like the other electro burblers Phantogram, brought the slam for the festival setting. Except they kept it going with beats that never stopped…Singer Yukimi Nagano, drummer Erik Bodin and bassist Fredrik Wallin had a big job here, and they mostly got it done by turning the show into a party fronted by a high-fashion diva…The amount of pure fun here was off the charts. Echoes of the great Sylvester got a shamefully small crowd moving.

Little Dragon’s tour continues with a set at Osheaga on Sunday (8/6), and Outside Lands later this month, before they head to NYC for a pair of shows: August 29 at Terminal 5 and August 31 at The Apollo. The Apollo show is told out, but tickets are on sale for Terminal 5. You can also try to win a pair: BrooklynVegan is giving away a pair of tickets to your choice of shows. To enter, comment on this post, or tweet the following: “I want to see Little Dragon at Terminal 5 @BrooklynVegan http://bit.ly/2hydyVl″ OR “I want to see Little Dragon at The Apollo @BrooklynVegan http://bit.ly/2hydyVl” (you must include the bit.ly URL). A winner will be chosen at random. Good luck!
