Littlefield 10th Anniversary

Littlefield announces 10th anniversary lineup (Oneida, Tamaryn, more)

Littlefield Performance + Art space, one of the few great smaller indie music and comedy clubs still standing in South Brooklyn, is preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a lineup featuring old and new friends of the venue. Littlefield’s anniversary extravaganza starts off on Friday May 17 with a show from long-running Brooklyn indie rock outfit Oneida, joined by James Brandon Lewis and Val Jeanty Duo, and Reg Bloor (tickets). The nine day celebration also includes shows from Tamaryn (who just released her new album Dreaming in the Dark a month ago) on May 18 (tickets), and Chicago experimental indie vets Califone on May 25 (tickets)

The Anniversary week also includes Jo Firestone, Aparna Nancherla, Maeve Higgins‘ weekly comedy show, Butterboy, which has an especially stacked May 20 lineup, including Adam Cayton-Holland, Dave Hill, Hari Kondabolu, Janelle James and Jean Grae, and probably some special guests (tickets). Butterboy is the current Monday night comedy show at Littlefield, but the anniversary week pays tribute to the venue’s previous ones, too, including a revival edition of Wyatt Cenac‘s Night Train on May 22 with Seaton Smith, Claudia Cogan and Joyelle Johnson (tickets). And Kurt Braunohler, whose show Hot Tub (with Kristen Schaal) started it all, returns to Littlefield on May 26 with DJ Ted Leo (tickets).

See the full lineup below.

Speaking of comedy at Littlefield, gear-loving Delocated creator/star Jon Glaser also has three upcoming Littlefield shows, on May 28 (tickets) and June 1 (early show tickets and late show tickets).
