Liz Phair and Ted Leo played Prospect Park (pics, setlist, video)

The 2019 BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival continued on Saturday night with a great indie rock double bill of Liz Phair and Ted Leo + Pharmacists. While Liz celebrated the 25th anniversary of her debut album, Exile in Guyville, last year, her Prospect Park set drew from throughout her discography, opening with “Supernova” from Whip-Smart, then hitting Whitechocolatespaceegg‘s “Johnny Feelgood” and “Take a Look” from 2003’s self-titled. There was plenty of Guyville, too, including “Never Said,” “Stratford-on-Guy,” “Help Me Mary,” and more. Ted Leo, who had a great opening set, came out to help sing on “Fuck and Run.”

Caroline Rose started things off and pictures of her set, and more from the whole night, are in the gallery above. Video of “Fuck and Run” and more, as well as Liz’s setlist, is below.
