Lizzo is wrapping up a huge year that included the release of her album Cuz I Love You and eight Grammy nominations with a few more shows on her schedule, but she’s had to cancel two of them due to illness. She was set to appear at KISS 108’s Jingle Ball at Boston’s TD Garden on Sunday (12/15), but dropped off the lineup after coming down with the flu. “To my Boston fans, iHeart and KISS108,” she wrote on Twitter, “I am so sorry I have to cancel tonight’s show due to the flu. I hate letting my fans down more than anything. I hope that you all can forgive me while I recover and I promise we are doing everything we can to make it up to you.”

A second show of Lizzo’s, Hot 93.7’s Jingle Jam, scheduled for Tuesday (12/17) in Hartford, CT with Megan Thee Stallion and Saweetie, has also been cancelled in the face of Lizzo’s continued illness. “Y’all I’ve never been this sick please pray for me,” she tweeted.

Lizzo is still scheduled to appear on the SNL’s final episode of the year this Saturday (12/21 with host Eddie Murphy), and perform on New Years Eve in Las Vegas.
