Local Natives releasing 'Sunlit Youth,' touring, playing 2 nights at Terminal 5

Local Natives will release their third album Sunlit Youth on September 9 via Loma Vista Recordings/Infectious Music. They’re not really doing the percussive thing that won people over in their early days anymore, with singles “Past Lives” and “Villainy” hinting at a more straight-up pop direction. You can listen and check out the tracklist and album artwork below.

The band also announced a tour that includes two nights at NYC’s Terminal 5 on October 25 & 26. Support at those shows comes from Charlotte Day Wilson. Tickets go on sale Friday (6/10) at noon with AmEx presales starting Thursday (6/9) at 10 AM. A digital download of Sunlit Youth comes with each ticket, and $1 from every ticket “is going to support gender-based violence intervention and prevention programs.” All dates are listed below.
