Lollapalooza day 2 pics (The National, Brockhampton, Parquet Courts, more)

After kicking off on Thursday, the 2018 edition of Lollapalooza continued on Friday with sets from The National, Brockhampton, Post Malone, Buddy, Tyler, the Creator, Lizzo, Parquet Courts, Taylor Bennett, Post Animal, Clairo, and more. Check out pictures from day 2 in the gallery above.

Parquet Courts, who recently expanded their tour, cracked wise at the Post Malone fans who secured a spot through their earlier set on the same stage, according to Chicago Tribune‘s Greg Kot:

Parquet Courts spotted a couple of early arriving fans camping out for another artist in front of their stage, and realized these fans were not happy. “I’ve longed for that day when I’d be playing for confused, slightly disgruntled Post Malone fans,” said guitarist A. Savage. “And that day has finally come.” The New York quartet has a half-dozen good-to-great albums to its credit this decade, and it strung together a series of killer-no-filler songs from most of them. They segued the tender “Dear Ramona” into a blistering “Master of My Craft” and “Borrowed Time,” found an unlikely but winning dance vibe (with cowbell!) on “Wide Awake” and broke into droning, Eastern jam mode on “One Man No City” with Austin Brown on 12-string guitar.

Lollapalooza continues throughout the weekend in Chicago’s Grant Park, and if you aren’t there, you can still stream some sets live. Also check out 12 acts we’re excited to see at Lolla this year, and catch up on our coverage of the festival so far with pictures from Thursday HERE.
