London Grammar touring w/ Until the Ribbon Breaks, playing Terminal 5 (dates); Coldplay & Cat Power share new song
London Grammar at Irving Plaza in April (more by Amanda Hatfield)
UK synth pop trio London Grammar have announced that they’ll be returning to North America once again for a tour here this fall. The tour includes their largest NYC show yet, happening on November 11 at Terminal 5. That date and most others is with Until the Ribbon Breaks. Tickets for T5 go on sale Friday (7/11) at noon. All dates are listed below.
LG also recently toured with Coldplay and spoke to NME about what that was like (“opening for Coldplay is amazing”). They also told TheMusic.com.au that Coldplay gave them some advice on how important band chemistry is (“that’s arguably why they’ve been around for so long and have been so successful”). In related news, Coldplay just shared their collaborative song with Cat Power which appears on the soundtrack to the new Zach Braff movie. You can listen to that over at NPR.
Also look for London Grammar to appear on VH1 + Palladia’s “Soundclash” series, hosted by Diplo and Questlove, on July 23 at 9 PM EST. All tour dates are listed below…
