Lord Dying prep new LP, announce tour w/ Year of the Cobra

Portland’s Lord Dying are releasing their third album, Mysterium Tremendum, on April 26 via Entertainment One. The record, which they made with producer Mike Plotnikoff (Fear Factory, In Flames), finds them exploring past their sludge MO and heading into heavy rock and prog. Lord Dying have just announced a tour for the new album, which has them out with Year of the Cobra. The trek kicks off May 8 in Seattle, heads to the East Coast (Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus on May 29) and then heads back west across Canada before wrapping up with a hometown Portland show on June 8. Tickets for the Saint Vitus show are on sale now.
