Lord Huron

Lord Huron share "Wait by the River," add 3rd NYC show to tour

Lord Huron are gearing up to release their Dave Fridmann-mixed album Vide Noir and go on tour, and they’ve now added several dates to that tour. The newly-added dates include a third NYC show on August 2 at Brooklyn Steel, following their sold-out shows on 5/3 at Beacon Theatre and 8/1 at Brooklyn Steel. Tickets for the 8/2 show go on sale Friday, February 23 at noon, and each pair of tickets comes with a copy of the new album. Updated dates are listed below.

Lord Huron recently released two songs from the album, “Ancient Names Parts I & II,” which have them heading in a more atmospheric, psychedelic direction than previous albums. Today, they unleashed another track from the LP, “Wait by the River.” It’s still got that atmospheric vibe, but this time they apply it to a ’60s rock ballad. Listen below. The new album drops on April 20 via Whispering Pines/Republic Records.
