Lord Mantis/Indian drummer Bill Bumgardner, RIP

The sad news has surfaced that Lord Mantis/Indian drummer Bill Bumgardner has passed away. Bill played in Lord Mantis since their formation, and at the time of his death, was their only remaining original member. He played in Indian from 2006 until their 2015 breakup, at which point Indian vocalist/guitarist Dylan O’Toole joined him in Lord Mantis (after vocalist Charlie Fell left and joined Cobalt). Lord Mantis then released NTW earlier this year. Bill also released the Defecation of the Tabernacle EP with Burning Churches this year.

Rest in peace Bill. You’ll be missed.
