Lorde released 'Melodrama,' going on tour (dates include Barclays & NJ)

Melodrama, the long awaited follow-up to Lorde’s 2013 debut, Pure Heroine, is out today; stream it below. To celebrate its release, Lorde plays an intimate, SiriusXM-presented show at Bowery Ballroom tonight. If you didn’t win a ticket through SiriusXM’s sweepstakes (no tickets were sold), you’ll have another chance to see Lorde next year when she plays much bigger shows on a just-announced North American tour that begins in March.

That tour includes a Brooklyn show at Barclays Center on April 4 and a NJ show at Prudential Center on April 6.

Tickets for all dates go on sale June 23 at 10 AM, and a fan presale starts June 20 at 10 AM. Later this year, Lorde plays shows in Europe, Australia, and her home country of New Zealand. See all of Lorde’s upcoming tour dates below.

Lorde was recently in NYC to play Governors Ball, where she played some Melodrama songs (including the live debut of “Perfect Places”) and covered Robyn with co-writer and co-producer Jack Antonoff of Bleachers (who have their own NJ show and festival coming with Khalid who opens Lorde’s European dates). She also played last weekend’s Bonnaroo.
