Dinosaur Jr bassist/backup-and-sometimes-lead singer Lou Barlow has made a Spotify playlist of the music that inspired Dinosaur Jr back when they were starting out in the ’80s. It includes songs by Wipers, The Dream Syndicate, True West, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Birthday Party, Throbbing Gristle, Venom, Accept, Saint Vitus, The Eastern Dark, The Neats, Green On Red and Meat Puppets, aka it’s really awesome.
