Loud Boyz share punk ripper "Knives" from debut LP, touring

by Andrew Sacher

Loud Boyz

A couple months ago, Geoff Rickly’s band United Nations went out on a short tour with support from two DC bands, Black Clouds (who are signed to Geoff’s label) and Loud Boyz. Loud Boyz are now set to release their debut album, Tough Love, Hard Feelings, in July via Cricket Cemetery Records (pre-order), and we’ve got the premiere of its new single “Knives.” It’s fast, loud, and one hell of a racket with hints of early hardcore and more recent garage punk. Listen below.

Loud Boyz have more shows coming up, including the Baltimore stop of the Marky Ramone ft. Andrew WK tour this Sunday (5/10), the DC stop of Darkest Hour’s Undoing Ruin tour in July, and a NYC show in between.

The NYC show is on June 5 at Roll Up Brooklyn, the new motorcycle garage at 382 Jefferson St in Bushwick. That show is with Jess Ledbetter (ex-The Dearloves, Silent Fangs). Ticket info TBA.
