Loud Records throwing anniversary show w/ Wu-Tang, Three 6 Mafia, Big Pun tribute, a Mobb Deep set, more

It continues to be a big year for the Wu-Tang Clan, who have been celebrating the 25th anniversary of 36 Chambers on tour all year and who are subject of a Showtime documentary and upcoming Hulu dramatic series based on their early years. The Staten Island group recently announced that they’re headlining hometown-area festival Rolling Loud NYC in Queens on October 12, and now they announced that they’ll also play Newark one day earlier, celebrating a different 25th anniversary.

On Friday, October 11, Prudential Center hosts Loud Records’ 25th anniversary with a big concert headlined by Wu-Tang and also featuring Three 6 Mafia, a Big Pun tribute featuring Remy Ma + Fat Joe, a Mobb Deep set by surviving member Havoc and special guests, Xzibit The Alkaholics, M.O.P., Dead Prez, Pete Rock, DJ Funk Flex, and still more that aren’t announced. Tickets go on sale Friday (8/9) at 10 AM with presales starting beforehand.
