Lovers & Friends reschedules 2020 edition for a single day

Los Angeles throwback hip-hop and R&B festival Lovers & Friends has rescheduled its inaugural 2020 edition amid the coronavirus pandemic. After adding a second date, the festival will now go back to one day, and happen on Saturday, August 8 at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park.”Hello Friends,” organizers write, “thanks for your patience as we’ve been figuring out how to make the show go on. In light of recent circumstances, Lovers & Friends Festival has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 8 at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park and is now only one day. Ticket purchasers for the original dates will be notified in the next few days with details about their order. We look forward to hosting you this summer. ”

The August lineup for Lovers & Friends includes Ms. Lauryn Hill, Usher with Ludacris and Lil Jon, TLC, Jhene Aiko, Summer Walker, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Nelly, T-Pain, Lil Kim, Brandy, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Eve, Ginuwine, SWV, Saweetie, Ma$e, Trick Daddy, Dru Hill, Next, 112, Mario, Donell Jones, Foxy Brown, Trina, Tweet, Amerie, Twista, Cam’ron, Mike Jones, Montell Jordan, Mereba, Umi, Jon B, Baby Bash, Frankie J, and Nina Sky.
