M83 release new song "Go!" (feat. Steve Vai)

Steve Vai

The first single from the next M83 album, Junk, almost seemed like a joke song, but they followed it with a sweeping, dramatic ballad. Now we get the third single “Go!,” and keeping with this album’s unpredictability, it features a guitar solo from veteran shredder Steve Vai. “He sent us three different takes, and we blended two to make the ultimate Steve Vai solo,” M83’s Anthony Gonzalez said in a press release.

The track also features vocals by Mai Lan. Listen below. Junk is due out Friday, April 8 via Mute.
