NYHC heavies Madball are shooting a video for their next song “Born Strong” and they’re on the lookout for extras. Per the band’s Facebook:

MADBALL video shoot this THURSDAY, June 12th @ NOON sharp. All you LADIES, All you FELLAS…..come out and represent for the BORN STRONG shoot!!!!
327 Bowery, New York, NY 10003 (212) 228-0228.

“Born Strong” features Walls of Jericho’s Candice Puopolo and is off of Madball’s next album, Hardcore Lives, which will be released June 27 via the band’s own Black N Blue label (preorder). We recently premiered the summery “Doc Marten Stomp” from the record, saying it was “. . .set to score many future drives from now until September.”

The video shoot for “Born Strong” occurs the same day as the Body Count record release show at the Gramercy Theatre, which features Madball and Wisdom in Chains opening. Body Count’s somewhat improbable Manslaughter saw its nationwide release this week (6/10) through Sumerian Records. The long-player includes a 2014 update of Suicidal Tendencies “Institutionalized” (DAMN COCO, can’t the man play X-box?), a song titled “I Will Always Love You” (which isn’t a Whitney/Dolly cover, shockingly), and the regrettably named, not-really-empowering anthem, “Bitch in the Pit.” All in all, it’s Planters nutty and that’s it’s greatest virtue and vice. Par for the course for Ice T.

Madball’s “Born Strong” video shoot flyer along with the full stream of Body Count’s Manslaughter appears below.
