Made in America 2017 Saturday pics (J. Cole, Solange, Migos, more)
Made in America Festival got off to a rainy start on Saturday (9/2) as the festival returned to Philly for its 2017 edition. J. Cole was Saturday’s headliner, and there were also sets from Solange, who played NYC’s Afropunk Festival last weekend and brought her meticulously choreographed, artful set to Made in America; Cardi B, who had a huge crowd rapping her hit “Bodak Yellow” right back at her (watch video below), and announced she’d be releasing her debut album in October; as well as Stormzy, Vic Mensa, Migos, Sampha, Lizzo, Francis and the Lights, Rapsody, and more. Check out pictures from Saturday in the gallery above.
Made in America wraps up on Sunday (9/3); see our recommendations on 15 acts not to miss at the festival, and the full set times. The festival is also livestreaming via TIDAL.
