Main Source announce NYC reunion show & 'Breaking Atoms' reissue

Hip hop vets Main Source, who counted legendary producer Large Professor as a member and helped launch Nas‘ career with his verse on “Live at the BBQ” (Nas’ first recorded verse), are back. They’re reissuing their 1991 debut Breaking Atoms (home of “Live at the BBQ”) and they also announced a NYC show for February 1 at SOB’s, reportedly their first show in over a decade. Tickets are on sale now.

The show is presented by Vinyl Me, Please, who will also have a new Breaking Atoms package available that includes:

1* LP color-in-color vinyl with bonus 7″
& Heavyweight gatefold jacket with foreword by Pharoahe Monch
* 12-pg full color lyric booklet with behind-the-scenes photos
* 12″ x 12″ original art print by XPAYNE

The group will also be giving away free limited edition Main Source CLEAN UPs, designed by sports apparel brand ’47, at the NYC show.
