Maps & Atlases in Chicago in May (more by Grant MacAllister)
Maps & Atlases are continuing to tour in support of their 2012 album, Beware and Be Grateful, which brought the band to NYC for two shows in May and will see them return to the area for a Hoboken, NJ show at Maxwell’s on September 9. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All upcoming dates are listed below.
Maps & Atlases are also holding a contest for fans to record themselves covering the M&A song “Fever” (which you can stream below), and upload it to YouTube. A press release reads, “The band will hand-select one winner, and an additional winner will be chosen by the fans, based on the highest number of ‘likes’ for the video. Winners will receive a new Fender Pawn Shop series guitar, alongside a Fender string/accessory pack.” Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM EDT on August 31 and a winner be announced on September 10.
