Martin Courtney playing Brooklyn in April

Martin Courtney played the Force Field PR 10th anniversary party at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, last week, a stripped-down, drummerless set that finished with a cover of Echo & the Bunnymen’s “The Killing Moon.” That was a regular encore selection on his recent solo tour and you can watch video of that below. He’ll be playing NYC again on April 11 at Knitting Factory. It’s a Jukely-sponsored show which means Jukely subscribers can get on the list for free. For those who aren’t subscribers, tickets to the Knitting Factory show go on sale Wednesday (3/9) at 10 AM.

The only other upcoming date on Martin’s schedule is Pitchfork fest in July.
