Martin Courtney shares animated video for "Asleep," playing free show at Union Pool with Eleanor Friedberger

Real Estate’s Martin Courtney has a new video for “Asleep,” a song off his excellent 2015 solo album, Many Moons. Directed and animated by Evan Cohen, it’s got a flowing, pyschedelic feel to it, the way Sesame Street vingnettes used to be in the ’70s. It’s quite lovely and you can watch it below.

You can catch Martin Courtney will be playing a free solo acoustic show at Union Pool on November 15 with Eleanor Friedberger. The show is presented by Brooklyn Brewery and you do need to RSVP to attend.
