Marvel paying tribute to Nirvana, The Clash & more in Rock Variants comic series

Marvel Comics has been paying tribute to classic rap albums for the last couple years with their Hip Hop Variants covers series, that mashed up Dr. Strange with Dr Dre, Spider-Man with 2 Pac, RZA with Nick Fury, and more. They’re doing again but this time with a few classic rock albums. Nirvana‘s Nevermind gets the Guardians of the Galaxy treatment, The Clash‘s London Calling gets a Thor makeover, Blondie‘s Parallel Lines gets an X-Men Blue remix, and Guns n’ RosesAppetite for Destruction receives an Inhumans twist. There’s also a X-Men Gold comic in the series, with the variation still to be revealed.

Those titles will be released this fall, and you can check out bigger versions of the cover art below.
