Mary Chapin Carpenter touring with Joan Baez, Indigo Girls, Rosanne Cash & more
Mary Chapin Carpenter, who released The Things That We Are Made Of last year, will be on tour for much of the summer where she’ll be joined by some great artists. Her “Transatlantic Session America Tour Spring 2017” which is based on a BBC music series that features a cross-pollination of American and UK folk, will hit NYC’s Town Hall on May 4. Carpenter will joined by Rosanne Cash, Jerry Douglas, Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham, John Paul White, Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O’Donovan, and Declan O’Rourke. Tickets are on sale now.
This summer Carpenter will be on the “Four Voices Tour” which pairs her with Joan Baez and Indigo Girls’ Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. That tour does not currently include any NYC-area dates. All tour dates are listed, along with stream of her album, below.
