Mary Onettes share new song, touring US; Boston tonight canceled due to weather, NYC show & other dates still on

Sweden’s The Mary Onettes were to have started their North American tour tonight (2/10) in Boston. Unfortunately, the weather is keeping that from happening. The tour instead starts Wednesday (2/11) in Philadelphia, and The Mary Onettes will then play Brooklyn’s Cameo on Thursday (2/12) with Alex Calder, Nicholas Nicholas, and DJ Future Sweden. Tickets are on sale. All dates are listed below.
At least they got their visas this time. They were supposed to have toured last year but only ended up performing at SXSW. It’s been since 2008 that we’ve gotten the full-band version of their appealingly mopey dreampop. The Mary Onettes released the Portico mini-LP last year which you can stream, along with a brand new song, “Sharkbrains,” below…
