Mates of State announce new EP & tour, streaming best-of

Mates of State will on tour of the southern US this month, and upon returning home they’ve got a Connecticut show with Polaris in May, followed by a NYC show on July 10 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (4/3) at noon.

The duo have been saying new music is on the way but ~~so far no word on that.~~ UPDATE: They now announced a new EP called You’re Going To Make It, which is due out June 16 via Barsuk and June 15 via Fierce Panda. They say that from here on out, they’ll only be releasing EPs instead of albums. Tracklist below.
