Houston rapper Maxo Kream‘s Punken remains one of the most enjoyable rap albums of the year, and Maxo continues to expand his tour in support of it. We recently mentioned he’d be back in NYC for the outdoor, daytime Warm Up at MoMA PS1 on August 18 with OG Ron C & the Chopstars, Bali Baby, Jubilee, Cuban Doll, World’s Fair, Injury Reserve and Kelman Duran (tickets); and he since added a headlining NYC show happening at Baby’s All Right later that same night, at 11 PM (tickets).

He’s got some upcoming festival appearances too, including Iowa’s 515 Alive Music Fest (8/17-17), Lyrical Lemonade SUMMER SMASH in Chicago’s Douglas Park (8/19), Columbus’ Breakway (8/24-26), two Labor Day Weekend festivals on opposite coasts — Philly’s Made In America and Seattle’s Bumbershoot — and Maryland’s Trillectro.

In other news, Maxo is featured on “From The Block” off Compton rapper AD‘s upcoming Regional Departure (due August 10 via 2CC Baby/Swish MGMT/League of Starz), and you can watch the video for that song below. Other guests on that album include Mozzy, Kap G, Kid Ink, Eric Bellinger and Snap Dogg.

Also below, watch Maxo’s recent video for the Tame Impala-sampling “Pop Another” off Punken.
