McKittrick Hotel's Halloween Inferno

The McKittrick Hotel’s 2018 Inferno Halloween Party is a wild extravaganza that covers all six floors of the “Sleep No More” host’s space. When doors opened after 10 PM on Saturday (10/27), only a couple of floors were available. But as the night went on and more costumed patrons arrived, the upper floors opened up and the booze kept flowing (tickets include open bar).

Most floors had elements of live music and performance combined with more macabre or theatrical Halloween themed elements. The main dance floor and ballroom on the ground level featured go-go dancers, a DJ and at certain points, some stage production. A floor up, two rooms connected by a long and winding hallway featured live music and a lip-sync battle hosted by a drag queen.

On the third floor, a porcelain bathtub drew lots of people in for photos as Brooklyn’s gothy Veda Rays performed a great sounding set and spiders guarded their webs in another room. Above that, another Brooklyn band, the Funkrust marched through the audience with their lively brass. Future Punx played too.

There is one more edition of Inferno at McKittrick on Halloween night with live bands — we know Future Punx will play again — and more (tickets). Check out pics from Saturday’s Inferno in the gallery above.
