Melody’s Echo Chamber announces new LP, shares “Breathe In, Breathe Out”


Melody’s Echo Chamber will release her second album, Bon Voyage, on June 15 via Fat Possum. That’s almost exactly a year after news came that Melody Prochet had suffered a “serious accident” that caused her album and tour (both due last fall) to be indefinitely postponed. We’re happy to know she in on-the-mend, although the press release accompanying the album news doesn’t speak of the accident at all. She has, however, shared a new song from the LP, the lovely “Breathe In, Breathe Out,” a driving, pyschedelic rocker that that makes time for a few flights of fancy as well. It was made, like last year’s “Cross My Heart” and the rest of the record, with Dungen’s Reine Fiske and The Amazing’s Fredrik Swahn. You can watch the animated video below.
