Meltasia fest 2017 lineup: Roky Erickson, Raekwon, Randee of the Redwoods & more
The Meltasia Festival returns to the Catskills for more rock n’ roll n’ camping mayhem on September 8-10, this year at Blackthorne Resort. (That’s a different location than last year and hopefully they’ll get along with the neighbors.) The 2017 lineup features headliners Roky Erickson, Raekwon and Mungo Jerry, plus Pissed Jeans, Midnight, Giuda, Death Valley Girls, A Giant Dog, Edan & Paten, and more, with still more to be announced. The weekend is hosted by Danny Tamberelli and Mike Maronna (aka Pete & Pete!) and onetime MTV regular presence Randee of the Redwoods (!!).
UPDATE: Mungo Jerry dropped off the bill.
When not rocking attendees may also enjoy “swimming,” “camping,” ‘Beach Boys Yoga,’ “Massacre Mansion,” “art,” “motorcycles,” Night Flight Theatre, and more. It’s about three hours outside of New York, and you may recall that the 2016 edition was quite the scene. Tickets for Meltasia 2017 go on sale Friday, June 2 at noon EDT.
