Metallica/Beck playing intimate LA shows around Grammys (which Daft Punk/ATCQ were added to)

The 2017 Grammy Awards are approaching, and a few artists will play small Citi-presented LA shows on their way to the ceremony. The series is called Citi Sound Vault and it’ll have Sting, Beck, The Chainsmokers, and Metallica playing the Hollywood Palladium in early February. Here’s the schedule:

Feb. 8th & 9th – Sting
Feb. 10th – Beck
Feb. 11th – The Chainsmokers
Feb. 12th – Metallica

Tickets for the Citi Sound Vault shows go on sale today (1/31) at 10 AM PST.

Metallica are also playing the awards ceremony, as is Adele. Since we last spoke, Daft Punk revealed that they will perform with The Weeknd (after contributing to his album Starboy). Maybe Sean Spicer will think more highly of them this time.

A Tribe Called Quest, Anderson .Paak and Dave Grohl also announced that they’ll collaborate on stage at the ceremony. Kanye West and Drake (and Justin Bieber) will not be there.

The awards ceremony broadcasts live on CBS from the Staples Center in LA, beginning at 8 PM EST.
