Micachu and the Shapes share "Sad" from new LP (listen)

Micachu & The Shapes have shared a second song off their forthcoming album, Good Sad Happy Bad. “Sad” is the opening cut on the LP, and is little more than drums and Mica Levi’s treated vocals, and definitely feels like the lead-in to something… which we’ll have to wait till September to hear more. As mentioned, the album was born from a long jam session that was later pulled apart and pieced back together. Stream “Sad” below.

You can catch them live when Micachu are over for a few East Coast dates. Tickets to their 9/12 show at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge are still available.

UPDATE: Micachu & the Shapes also play Alphaville on September 11 with Highlife. Tickets are on sale.
