Mick Jenkins says 'Pieces Of A Man' LP is done, announces intimate NYC show

Mick Jenkins has been gearing up to release his anticipated sophomore album, which he said is called Pieces Of A Man and seemingly teased a release for this week. Still no sign of it, but he did just announce a one-off NYC show happening at NYC’s intimate Public Arts (10/15) in just ten days. It’s also a seated show, so, given the imminence and intimacy of the event, could it be an album release show? Tickets are on sale now.

UPDATE: The show sold out and Mick added a late show (9:30 PM) happening the same night (tickets).

UPDATE 2 (10/12): Mick put out the Kaytranada-produced “Understood,” along with its video, and revealed the album release date: October 26.

Mick recently released three very good, very different singles, “Bruce Banner,” “What Am I To Do,” and “Elephant In The Room.” Listen to those below. He’s also on the new Che Lingo song.
