Midge Ure touring U.S. in fall, playing NYC with Richard LLoyd ++ reforming Rich Kids for UK punk’s 40th anniversary


Midge Ure (Ultravox/Visage) will be touring the East Coast this fall. The NYC stop happens at Gramercy Theatre on October 2 and that show is with Television’s Richard Lloyd. Tickets are on sale now. All dates, including a Long Island show and one at Daryl Hall’s venue in Pawling, are listed below.

In other Ure news, Rich Kids, Midge’s late-’70s band with Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) and Rusty Egan are getting back together to play a show as part of the yearlong 40th anniversary of UK punk celebration. The show, which happens at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on May 19, is also with The Professionals (with Paul Cook of The Sex Pistols).
