Milemarker announce US tour, reissuing 'Frigid Forms Sell,' have a new 7"

Reunited Chapel Hill/Chicago post-hardcore vets Milemarker were recently announced for Atlanta’s stacked Wrecking Ball festival, and now a full US tour has been announced surrounding that fest.

It includes two Brooklyn shows: August 24 at Shea Stadium and August 25 at Saint Vitus. Tickets for those shows are on sale now. All dates are listed below.

The band are also reissuing their third album, 2000’s Frigid Forms Sell, which brought keyboardist/vocalist Roby Newton into the fold, introducing futuristic synths, male/female vocals, and alien-like vocoder vocals into their chaotic post-hardcore. It instantly set them apart from their contemporaries, and it still sounds pretty out of step today (in a good way). It’s been out of print on vinyl but will be back out later this year via Lovitt Records (the same label that released it in 2000). If you’re unfamiliar with the album, stream it below.

Milemarker aren’t just doing the nostalgia thing though. They’re also putting out a new two-song 7″ on Lovitt this year too. It includes “Conditional Love,” which came out digitally last year, and which still sounds like a hardcore band from outer space. Check that out below too.
